Tests for drugs of abuse are divided into 2 types:

1) For professional use:

It consists of strips or cassettes that are easy, quick and visual to use. to determine drug use. Drug tests are qualitative laboratory tests, which are performed by linking an antigen and its homologous antibody, to identify and qualify the antigen and antibody specific of a sample, these are called immunoassays. The method consists of the use of a mixture of drug-selective antibodies and their metabolites (active ingredients) obtaining a result with a high degree of sensitivity.
